FREDERICK, MD‹ The Blue Elephant Art Center is hosting an opening reception on the 6th of April 2002 from 7:00 ­ 11:00 p.m. exhibiting the works of three local artists/designers. Fe: Objets ­ Trouvés, running from 6 April through 5 May, focuses on the interactive metal sculptures of Blue Elephant artists Brian Slagle and Jayson Swafford and guest artist Cory Benson, of made.

The sculpture exhibition features found-object pieces created by the artists in close collaboration for this show, as well as pieces from each artists collection of personal works. Design work of made including contemporary furniture, couture fashion and performance clothing design, and architecture and urban design projects will also be on display.

The Blue Elephant Art Center is located in downtown Frederick, Maryland at 4A West 5th Street. The Blue Elephant Art Center is open weekends and by appointment.
